Public Relations Office

The Office performs the following tasks:

a) drafting a public relations strategy of the Government of the Federation with directions, intentions, objectives and manner of managing Government communications;
b) preparation of annual action communication plans of the Government of the Federation;
c) continuous and planned establishment of communication with the public by providing accurate information in order to timely and objectively inform the public about the function, role and activities of the Government of the Federation;
d) establishing communication standards and instructions for online communication with the aim of achieving two-way communication and a greater degree of communication and cooperation with the public;
f) organizing media coverage of the work of the Government of the Federation;
g) organizing media campaigns and events in order to promote development and other projects of the Government of the Federation;
h) organizing media and public appearances of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister and members of the Government of the Federation;
(i) preparing and providing answers and information to questions from journalists;
j) monitoring and analyzing media reports on the work of the Government of the Federation, and informing the Government of the Federation on the content and views of the media and the public;
k) managing all communication channels of the Government of the Federation on the Internet (web site and official accounts on social networks), and regular collection, processing and placement of content on official communication channels of the Government of the Federation;
l) ensuring the permanent administration of the Website of the Government of the Federation, as well as other official communication channels on the social networks of the Government of the Federation;
m) development and design of multimedia content (photo, audio and video materials) for communication with the public;
n) strengthening internal communication in the Government of the Federation, and coordination of public relations with federal bodies and administrative organizations and their public relations officers, in order to ensure the availability and management of information, as well as events related to communication tasks; 
o) preparing and providing answers and information to citizens' questions, in accordance with the Law on Freedom of Access to Information in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Newspaper of the Federation of BiH", No. 32/01 and 48/11);
p) monitoring the implementation of laws and other regulations in the field of information and public relations;
r) professional-operational and other tasks entrusted to the Office, in accordance with its scope, by the Government of the Federation or the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
